Dermal Fillers

Procedure: Used to improve or eliminate deep creases and wrinkles or to add fullness to lips and backs of hands.

Length: 15 minutes to 1 hour per session

Anesthesia: Local anesthesia will be administered with no hospitalization required.

Side Effects: You may experience temporary discomfort, stinging, throbbing, or burning sensations. Temporary bruising and swelling may occur. You may develop excess fullness.

Risks: Contour irregularities or infection may occur. ( A skin test is required before collagen treatment to determine whether an allergy exists.

Duration of Results: The duration of results is variable depending upon the product used.

Dr. Gray typically uses JUVEDERM®, RADIESSE®, SCULPTRA®, CAPTIQUE®, HYLAFORM®, OR RESTYLANE®, but fat or collagen injections are also sometimes used depending upon the result intended.
