Meet Doctor Gray
Dr. Gray is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, who started his practice in Huntsville, Alabama, in 2004 after serving as an instructor of plastic and reconstructive surgery at Saint Louis University.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from Henderson State University in Arkansas , where he was a two-time All-American and two-time Academic All-American in track and field, he earned his Masters of Sports Science in sports fitness management from the United States Sports Academy in Mobile , Alabama . Dr. Gray's interest in health and fitness led this former triathlete to the field of corporate fitness prior to entering medical school. He graduated from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine in 1998. He completed 3 years of general surgery training at the
University of Arkansas followed by a two year residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Saint Louis University . He further honed his skills at Saint Louis University instructing students and residents in the art of medicine and plastic surgery.
Dr. Gray is held in high esteem by his colleagues and students. Based upon his academic merit and professionalism, he is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the prestigious national medical honor society. Dr. Gray received the Surgical Resident Teaching award in 2000, and the following year the medical students showed their gratitude by selecting Dr. Gray as Resident of the Year out of over 400 resident physicians at the University of Arkansas Medical Center, an honor that is held dear to Dr. Gray's heart. Dr. Gray is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Alabama State Medical Society and Madison County Medical Society.
Dr. Gray is a warm and genuine person and a talented surgeon. His special interests are breast surgery and body contouring, but he is also experienced in facial reconstruction and burn surgery. His practice includes a full range of pediatric and adult plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Gray is known for taking a personal interest in his patients and his staff. He makes a special effort to answer questions and ensure that his patients understand all options of treatment. He answers many of the e-mail messages sent to this website personally.
Dr. Gray is an avid bicyclist and golfer. His wife Heather is a physician with Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology Specialists, P.C.
